This simple necklace is made with a single piece of rainbow opal, resting between two ancient roman glass beads, connected by 14k gold-filled wire, chain & findings.

The glass is from 2,000 years ago, when Rome occupied the holy land and Christ walked the earth. This tiny beads are fashioned from fragments of these glass artifacts and represent a reminder that Christ died under occupation as a symbol of resistance and revolutionary love.

Wearing the necklace is a way of carrying a piece of the prayer for those of us who believe in the importance of freedom from occupation and oppression, and the redemptive power of love. Sales of the necklace will support my pilgrimage & the solidarity effort for Palestinians to see safety and freedom on their homeland.
