The word wohemīwo was birthed as an answer to a prayer. It is an invocation for wholeness, for harmony, for connection and for creative empowerment.
Wohemīwo consists of the first two letters of the words:
womb
heart
mind
world
and together, encapsulates the essence of the creative process. For me, these words and the energies they represent are beyond language and biology, but can be spoken about archetypally.
The Womb is not just an intelligent organ, but a mysterious portal we all came from, and a mythic reality we all share. The Womb is the void, the dark space inside, the source of all creativity & fertility, the quiet nurturing magician within.
The Heart is not only a pump for our blood, but for the psychic fountain of healing love. When the generative power of the womb meets the radiant warmth of Heart energy, creativity is infused with meaning. Our personal fertility (be it literal or symbolic) becomes our prayer, our source of connection, our expression of care.
When the Mind is aligned with the powers of the heart and womb, it becomes noble, focused, inspired. The gifts of the Mind illuminate the vision and path toward holistic manifestation.
And lastly, the World represents our manifestation within the collective dream of reality. It is the web, the network of connections that comprise the living organism we are all part of. When our personal creativity is aligned with the natural forces of magic, love, and discernment, it emerges as an offering from Life, to Life. It strengthens the health of the greater organism, it brings more beauty into being, and it increases harmony.
Wohemīwo is a vehicle of praise for the natural forces of Life, a reminder of devotion, and a container of offering, for the collective.
May beauty emerge and spread from the fruits of our flowering.
